Benzimidazolone Orange H5G
This is a single pigment PO60 orange which is helpful for its abilities to act as a complement other colors. It is slightly less chromatic than cadmium orange, however it is an interesting pigment in its own right. PO62 may not have the most bulletproof lightfastness in tints depending on the supplier so look into that if it is of importance to your process. However this is a lovely single pigment orange.
A previous color description: "Orange Permanent is rich, opaque and is a modern high key color with a pure hue. Permanent Orange remains brighter in its tint when mixed with white.“ -Gamblin Oils. Blick listed this color as Benzimidazolone Orange, however on the Gamblin site it says, “Monoacetolone (PO 62)” for the pigment. Gamblin categorizes this color as warm.
