Ultramarine Violet
We are huge fans of this pink, and we’d call it serendipitous. It’s hard to find single pigments in this area of the spectrum, and this red-violet is an enchanting stand-alone color. In mixes this is a powerhouse for lowering the chroma of greens, and has delightful desaturating effects on single-pigment greens and convenience greens alike. Is it possible to mix this hue? Yes. However it’s extremely nice to simplify mixtures when working with nuances of green pigments. Update: Unfortunately the pink/red version of PV15 has been discontinued.
