Charvin’s Super Fine series is sometimes just referred to as their Fine series, and they come in 150ml tubes. This is a bit confusing as they also have an Extra-Fine series which is available in a variety of sizes. There is also overlap between the paint names in the two lines. However Extra-Fine has a broader range of colors. There is also uncertainty about which pigments are actually in a given tube. We noticed some pastel blends that do not disclose which white pigments are used, and reached out to Charvin about whether they use zinc. Unfortunately this did not result in any greater clarity. We haven’t listed any of their paints as single pigment colors since there is ambiguity surrounding which pigments they contain.
