This is a vibrant, joyous red-orange earth color with bright chroma for an earth tone. This exuberant ochre maintains higher-than-expected chroma in tints. This lovely color is a great addition to a palette at this hue. Paint texture is somewhat soft and gritty— a pleasant quality if you like larger particle sizes in earths. However if you love smooth paint without a hint of grit this may not be the paint for you. A somewhat similar color would be Williamsburg’s Italian Rosso Veneto. A highly recommended gritty, energetic earth tone.
