Holbein’s Cadmium Green is actually a bit of a deep middle green compared to several other brands’ interpretation of this color. Holbein also has a Cadmium Green Deep, which we would assume goes a bit deeper still. One thing to note for those sensitive to the smell of certain painting materials: this paint does have a strong odor. This color is a lively high chroma green. While made with cadmium and viridian, is almost as bright as what one might expect in a Permanent Green.
