Quinacridone Violet / Rose (this pigment can be violet or magenta)
This Quinacridone Violet is perhaps the most violet of the PV19s we have seen. For context PV19 comes in rose and violet varieties. In comparison with the violet varieties this is the most violet, and has more blue leaning tints than other brands. This color stood out among the others on the panel as being deep in masstone and more dusky purple in tints. The paint is only a moderate tinter compared to Williamsburg and M Graham. The biggest difference between this paints and other quinacridone violets is the hue which is a bit closer to violet than the other red-violet magentas.
