Gamblin Radiant Violet

Gamblin Radiant Violet

The big surprise with this one, which we had never really noticed until reviewing these colors, was the consistency. This has a very similar consistency to Gamblin's Radiant White (in retrospect, this makes a lot of sense). That means it's a lot fluffier and more fluid than most Gamblin colors.

This could be a nice color if you find yourself needing to cut Dioxazine Violet (PV23) with white. Gamblin mentions these are about a value 7 in Munsell.

As part of our Gamblin review, we've made mini-reviews on some of their paints. Be sure to check out the video of Radiant Violet.
