Beautiful blues. M Graham’s Ultramarine Blue mixed with a Rublev Cypress Umber Warm. M Graham makes a richly pigmented ultramarine in walnut oil- a smooth and light consistency with a gemlike finish.

On the Paint List it is easy to search by pigment (like PB29 for ultramarine) to discover the options across brands. Rublev’s Cypress Umbers are hearty, and we appreciate the wide variety of hues and textures for their earth tones.

Here the umber neutralizes the ultramarine.
