This fascinating color has two natures and may be either purple or more pink. The purple variety has a nice masstone that is not perfectly matched by other purples out of the tube, though it could be mixed. PR202 is incredible in glazes. Unfortunately the two varieties are not delineated by the pigment code, so when we went to repurchase the purple-variety PR202 the company had changed it to a more magenta variety.
