Titanium Orange
Chrome Titanium Oxide
Chrome Titanate Yellow
Chrome Antimony Titanium Buff Rutile
A terrific pigment that can be an opaque caramel color or a pale yellow. From another angle, this opaque color is a viable substitute if looking for a single-pigment replacement for certain (but not all) kinds of Naples Yellow Genuine, or a yellow-brown that is brighter than yellow ochre.

Winsor and Newton Naples Yellow Deep (a hue), made of PBr24
This caramel-toned brown is a great addition to a palette. It is also called Chrome Antimony Titanium Buff Rutile and has a bit of whiteness/opaqueness/reflectivity in its overall look. Artiscreation has a lot more detail on health and safety. Despite its relative good marks, it does contain Chrome, Antimony, and Titanium, so Monona Rossol's book, The Artist's Guide to Health and Safety has information on working with pigments that contain each of those metals.

Winsor and Newton Naples Yellow Deep, made with PBr24. Like nearly all Naples Yellows this is a hue or imitation of the original historical Naples Yellow.

Winsor and Newton Naples Yellow Deep, PBr24. Though it is a Naples Yellow imitation, unlike other modern blends to approximate the historical color, this one is made of a single pigment

Though this pigment usually gets an A for toxicity, we always recommend treating pigments with respect. It's made from metals (oxide of chrome, antimony, and titanium). Monona Rossol's book, The Artist's Guide to Health and Safety and her site have more information on these metals. We are not toxicologists so please consult the relevant authorities. Treat all pigments and paints with studio safety protocols.
