Gray Hydrated Aluminum Silicate
Slate Black or Slate Grey/Gray. We are weirdly enchanted by this color, as it is the basis for several off-the-beaten-path grey earth tones such as French Ardoise Gray. Made of Hydrated Aluminum Silicate or just "slate". It's fun to experiment with mixing the lighter forms of this pigment with lemon yellows. Monona Rossol mentions limits for respirable dust called PNOS, see her work for more.
