MayaCrom Blue B2050. The breakthrough Maya Blue. This blue pigment showed remarkable permanence over the centuries, and its formulation had previously been lost. The way to make it was rediscovered, but something seems to have happened to the company that made it. Artiscreation has some research following the trail of what happened to the company.

It has become difficult to find genuine Maya Blue now, but recently it was still being offered by Kremer Pigments. The blue itself is a desaturated blue-green pigment.
